During the past 25 years as a practicing behavioral counselor and trainer in Redondo Beach, I have worked with thousands of dogs, owners and families. I have had the opportunity to deal with just about every behavior challenge a dog can present. Because of my positive approach and results, I am working with many second and third generation dogs and their owners. Although my specialty is the "family dog," I also work with search and rescue, guide, agility, and therapy dogs. My program and approach have been used by members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, the California Rescue Dog Association and the FBI. I have also worked with Torrance Memorial Hospital in selecting dogs for their pet assisted therapy program. I am a regular guest speaker at Pierce College in Woodland Hills for their Registered Veterinary Technician program. I also advise many veterinarian hospitals and dog day care facilities on behavioral issues throughout the South Bay.

My most recent television appearance was on Animal Planet's "Untamed & Uncut" and I was brought in to advise the contestants on CBS's Greatest American Dog Reality Show. My training tips have been seen on Animal Planet's "Eukanuba Tournament of Champions" dog shows. I appeared on Animal Planet's "Beverly Hills Vet" to help resolve issues with a problem dog. I helped create A&E's "America's Top Dog". I was the show's lead dog behaviorist, where Cesar Milan appeared as one of our judges. I was called on the set of NBC's "Providence" to assist in resolving training challenges. I also had the pleasure of hosting a weekly local radio show on KFOX where I answered live calls and resolved dog behavior issues. In addition, I was most recently featured on the My Doggie Says... radio talk show - hosted by Fred Haney on KFNX 1100 in Phoenix, which can be heard here.
